Mousa Abu Maria -Palestinian rights activist
Mousa Abu Maria, from Beit Ummar in the West Bank, co-founder of the Palestine Solidarity Project, has been shot in the head, spent four years in the Israeli prison system and also shared an Israeli prison cell with Khader Adnan, Hunger striker.

Stephen McCloskey – Centre for Global Education
Stephen McCloskey is Director of the Centre for Global Education a development non-governmental organisation providing education on international development issues who has frequently spoken out against Israel’s violation of the human rights of the Palestinian people.

In 1948, two-thirds of the indigenous Palestinian Arab population were forcibly expelled from their homes in the ethnic cleansing of Palestine in order to establish Israel as an exclusive Jewish state. Over 530 Palestinian villages were systematically depopulated and destroyed. Today, Palestinians form one of the largest refugee populations – one in three refugees worldwide is Palestinian
