Familiarity breeds contempt

Few people know the reality of the story behind what is known as the UK annex of 'Northern Ireland'. The Internet is now falling into the very same mire.

Many centuries ago, when England was still fighting wars with France, a young new king waited to be crowned in the UK.

In Italy, the Vatican was busy cementing its controls over as many dominions as it could. At the time, the Vatican considered that all 'unclaimed' or non sovereign-ruled territory belonged to the Vatican. In its dedicated and enforced system of control, it had no head-space for any other view.

The island of Ireland was considered at the time by the Vatican to be 'its property'. Wishing to cement a better friendhip with England, the Vatican decided to give the new English king a gift. That gift was the parcel of land known as Ulster, or now, simply Northern Ireland.

Nobody was asked for consent, not the people, not those responsible at the time for ruling over any parts of the island. The 'gift' was simply made.

It was never UK territory to begin. However, it was assimilated and, over the many decades since, absorbed into the UK's administrative sectors, particularly the UK parliament, as simply being a part of the UK. The existing belief that Nothern Ireland is somehow UK territory is simply built on false foundations.

Familiarity breeds contempt.

Likewise, such is now happening to the Internet. Nobody 'owns' the Internet. Much garbage has been written about the development and origin of the world wide web, but it boils down to one Englishman who built the idea of interconnecting computers. All else developed from that ingenious vision to become today's 'Internet'.

It is no real wonder, given the abject stupidity of much of the human race, that certain persons would wish to claim 'rights' over such a powerful medium. Manipulation of others to suit their own selfish goals has and always will be the sole aim of some irreversibly twisted people.

We are now seeing attempts by both governments and corporations in the so-called democratically free world, and particularly in the United States, to control the use of the Internet by measures they wish themselves to see introduced and implemented.

They have been granted certain powers of administration in a system that does require such, but again, familiarity breeds contempt. In this case, contempt against the very people who pay such administrators money to live on.

Such control has already been implemented in countries where dictatorial governments hold power over the people.

What we are seeing now are the true colours of human evil at work.
