Help The Homeless Appeal

category dublin | miscellaneous | news report author Monday November 25, 2013 18:20author by Dublin Cumann 32CSM - Thirty Two County Sovereignty Movement Report this post to the editors

The Dublin Cumann of the 32CSM are appealing to the public to help out with donations for our help the homeless appeal we are running throughout the Christmas period.

We are asking for people to donate any Blankets, Sleeping Bags, Jackets, Gloves or Hats that you may have as we will also be doing our bit, as we do every year, to help the homeless people on the streets at this hard time of year. The homeless population in Dublin has risen by 90% since last year due to the increased austerity measures forced upon us by the free state government and these people face a particularly tough time as the weather changes and the temperates drop dramatically. We will be going out on the streets throughout the month of December doing soup runs and handing out the items that are donated to the people that need them most.

Anything you can do to help with any of the above is greatly appreciated and everyones support is needed.

E-mail us @ 32csmdublincumann@gmail.com and we can organise to collect any unwanted clothing or blankets to distribute to the homeless.

Thank you,

Beir Bua
