As I'm sure you are aware,
Derry Republican Tony Taylor continues to languish behind bars, interned on the word of Britain's overseer in the North of Ireland, James Brokenshire.
Taken away, out of the blue by paramilitary clad police in front of his terrified family and thrown into a cell in Maghaberry prison Antrim.
He's been there for over 468 days!
No trial, no due process just sheer internment!

This is becoming an all too unwelcome trend not just within the 6 counties but island wide, with political policing and internationally condemned practices of denial of due process, political internment and kangaroo courts both sides of the border.
Tony Taylor never even seen the inside of a court,
He was plucked forcibly off the street during a shopping trip and placed in prison without any explaination why, he still has no explaination to this day.
This is political kidnapping, and Tony is a political hostage, plain and simple!

Prominent individuals who in the past were imprisoned for their contributions to the struggle for Irish Liberation,
If they dare disagree with the status quo they are liable to be silenced with this cruel and brutal form of extreme censorship.
No doubt as they are respected voices in their communities, it makes sense the British government and their underlings are trying to stifle ever growing dissent.
This has happened previously in the cases of Marian Price and Martin Corey,
Hard fought campaigns that were successes and we plan to replicate the same hard work to get Tony out of the Maghaberry hellhole and back to his family who miss and need him.
A collective of Republicans and human rights activists in Dublin on the urging from comrades active on the matter in Derry have decided we can no longer sit on our laurels on this matter. It's time to act.
Tony has been through numerous court appearances and appeals processes but given Britain's record of so called justice in the North of Ireland,
When it comes to Irish republicans it's clear the court system can't be relied upon nor trusted due to its inherently bias nature.

On the ground grassroots activism is needed and needed now!
We cannot stand for this gross injustice to continue any longer!
If your interested in forming a branch in Dublin with us, to act on this issue, Then get yourself to the Teachers club Parnell Street this Thursday at 8pm!
The aim of this meeting willl be to form a working group and discuss ideas on how to proceed in the Capital.

This will be a wholly independent campaign and pursued from a human rights perspective in full consultation with Tonys family and the campaign group currently active in Derry following it's lead and wishes completely, to add a Dublin based component to what will hopefully become a National campaign.

Everyday Tony remains incarcerated just adds to the injustice of the whole sitiaion so let's get cracking......
Oh and remember this isn't just an issue for republicans, it's an issue for anyone who opposes injustice wherever it raises it's ugly head.
With corruption and poltical policing rife in all strands of Irish society, solidarity is the key in righting these wrongs.
