Hey folks in Ireland,

Just writing to let you know that one of my all-time favorite
songwriters,
Dana Lyons, will be doing a tour of Ireland during the first couple
weeks of
October. He's never been to Ireland, and I don't know when he'll be
back, so
I strongly encourage everybody to check him out and consider booking a
gig
for him in your area. His song, "Cows With Guns," has been getting
some
airplay on Irish radio lately. It's a hilarious and poignant song
about a
bovine rebellion. He's written many, many other songs, real fighting
songs
for the environmental movement, ballads about seditious farmers,
motorways
and all kinds of other stuff. I've been a big fan of his for a long
time.
