Globalisation court case adjourned

The Court hearings against nine anti-globalisation protestors have been adjourned until December next. The members of "Globalise Resistance" were facing public order charges after a disturbance outside the Burlington Hotel in Dublin last October. Earlier one of the protestors, twenty-four year old Thomas Karder from East Wall Road was fined eight hundred Euro for stealing a Garda radio during the interruptions to a public private partnership meeting

"Thomas Karder (sp) from East Wall Road was fined eight hundred Euro for stealing a Garda radio"

Thomas was fined eight hundred euro for being victim of police violence.

They charged him with larceny to make a case stick on the one defendent who even the pigs had to give hospital treatment too.
