I'm not 100% sure of this but it looks like IMC Palestine has been hacked
Unfortunately I can't give you any more information than this.
The Newswire is dominanted some 30 plus posts with the header and body consisting of the word "ignore"
furthermore the URL for the IMC http://jerusalem.indymedia.org/
will regularly divert you to
http://soberingup.brinkster.net/victums/evictims.asp
A website of Jewish victims of "Arafat's Crimes" the sites own words.
The site is run by Israeli Emergency Solidarity fund.
This is a loathsome attempt at censorship. IMC Palestine is operating in the most dangerous and stressful circumstances, and it's shows the desperation of these people that they feel they need to hide the truth. The people that are doing this what are you afraid of? How can you claim your cause is just if you won't allow the other side to speak?

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3I have been regularly checking the palestine indymedia site since
yesterday and have not encountered this problem. Hopefully, it's been
solved.
Solidarity for Palestine and all Occupied Peoples from Canada.
I have experienced some of what Aidan has talked about.
It has been impossible for me to access any older stories on either the newswire or features page. The newswire was flooded with a story titled; ignore. When you access it is something about murders it claims arafat is responsible for.
perhaps some of the problems with the newswire are hitches with the site that their tech people never had the chance to fix. The site is only five days old.
Posts on the newswire mention hackers and persistant distruption, I believe the site was hacked and hacked poorly at that.
