Democracy Protest Outside GPO at 5.30pm

Sinn Féin wil be holding a picket outside the GPO at 5.30pm to protest raids carried out by the RUC on the hoems and offices of Sinn Féin members as part of a securocrat campaign of harassment against our party and the people who support us. All are welcome to attend and register their protest against police harassment of a democratic political party.

Over the last two months the supra-national state of Spain has moved as is well known against a HB one of the Basque nationalist parties associated with ETA.
However not only HB.
In Catalonia 14 independence groupings ranging from republican (ERC) to langauge groups have been subject to intimidation by the Spanish National Police. At present 4 young people are detained in Catalonia for protesting their democratic right to support independence for Catalonia.
And the GPO is a vert traditional place to protest but Kildare St / Merrion Sq would be better.

the word democracy and party CANNOT be used in the same sentence to together, they are an oxymoron!
