Argentine/Irish petition to Minister John O Donoghue
An interesting article from Michael John Geraghty of the Buenos Aires Herald explaing how this petition came to be.
It is easily understandable that Ireland and Argentina have always held each other in high regard. After all Argentina received a large 19th-century Irish immigration which made an important contribution to Argentine life.
