Media activists wanted

To the groups, organisations, and individuals registered for the European Social Forum in Florence

The Milano Social Forum Communication Group, made up of voluntary
journalists and activists of the anti-globalization movement, is
planning
to realize a multilingual newspaper in the 5 days of European Social
Forum
in Florence; the newspaper will have eight pages, in which we’d like to
put
not only the most interesting discussions and events inside and outside
the
Forum, but also the moods and the atmosphere of the movement in Europe,
the
social and political situations existing in other countries, the
different
paths both individual and collective followed by the militants
(problems,
difficulties, achievements and defeats...), as well as the european
militants experiences (wishes, fears, and so on). That’s why we ask all
european activists skilled in communication (journalists,
mediactivists,
illustrators, photographers...) and interested in this project, to join
us
for news and reports, to cover not only the institutional part of the
program (seminars and conferences), but also the above mentioned
features.
We need also some people to translate articles in English.
So we hope to create from the base a multilingual staff of european
communication activists,
who’ll be able to work together in the future for other projects,
if there’ll be the opportunity.
