When the steel is encircling you everywhere, there in the heart of this insanity, there is no choice but to collect your abilities and powers to be at the same level of history as it happens. You live what happens historically. We are living in the core of suffering and in tragedy's very eye for the sake of creating our essential selves and in order to be what we want--a homeland and a life. This love for homeland and life that we carry in this land is a throbbing pulse. Even now in this insanity which we do not desire we love life.

Now in the heart of this insanity I say, "How beautiful is life!" When you feel that you protect and defend lofty values and then you feel that the whole world is looking towards you, then ultimately you feel that you and your comrades are actually encircling oppression and are really within its steel. At that point you feel national honor so fully that you can taste it. So defend it with a rifle in your hands!
