Freedom of speech again attacked in Dail

Today proposals have been made to restrict the rights of the newly formed 'Technical Group' (made up of 22 TDs from GP, SF, SP, and Inds). The proposals also reduce time the Taoiseach has to spend in Dáil.

Today the Government have proposed that the rights of the newly formed Technical Group be reduced. This groups formed for the perposes of more Dáil time etc.

The group has more TDs than the Labour Party. The Labour PArty are now going to support the governments attempts to shut up the real opposition. I hink this exposes what the Labour Party are now like. They are a bunch of careerists that do not like the way they've lost the limelight.

The attacks on the Technical Group shows that the Dail is really a bourgeois parlaiment. The rules are used to restrict those opposed to the status quo and the cosy consensus
