Don’t let Bush and Blair get away with murder in Iraq… Party For Peace!!! 4pm onwards at corn market in Belfast Thursday 31st of October, Halloween night With various bands, DJs, poets and dancers

“What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?”
Albert Einstein

It is now becoming critical that everyone who is opposed to a bloody and insane war against Iraq hits the streets. One way to show your opposition to a war is by making it down to the party for peace!!!

Some of the bands confirmed so far are… New Breed, who play sort of Indy stuff, The Fare Evaders who play “Ethnic/Rock ‘n’ Roll, Funk and Groove” and also Tendo, who play Punk Rock. We have also a few poets confirmed who will give us a few anti-war poems to make the evening perfect.

It’s vitally important that people get down to this, this weekend tens of thousands of protesters are expected “in the largest anti-war demo since Vietnam”. In britain “thousands of protesters are expected to converge on Parliament Square for the national day of civil disobedience”.

Tony Blair And George Dubya are watching us grow and they’re filling their pants at the prospect of a mass and effective anti-war movement.
