Carmen Trotta
- has spent the past 14 years living and working with New York's homeless on the lower east side, a couple of miles from Ground Zero.
- is presently a full time organiser for the War Resisters League.
- has been active and arrested for nonviolent resistance to nuclear weapons, School of the Americas, police killings in NYC and US wars on Colombia, Yugoslavia, East Timor and Iraq
- he sings Phil Ochs, Johnny Cash and Elvis
