true spies on BBC 2 now
reveals special branch kept a file on Ricky tomlinson. shows the detail and length to which special branch/mi5 went to infiltrate political and activist peace groups that they deemed subversive.

It was amazing to see how top union leaders had been bought and were cooperating with special branch and giving names of activists to them.
Makes me wonder about this country.....
Also people who applied for jobs in Ford in Liverpool were all screened and anyone with a hint of activism was refused a job - blacklisting they call it.
Well done to the BBC!!
We'd never see anything like that on RTE, too much politics in that organisation, even thought its clear now that they are in the shits because of Burke. They should be doing more docs about corruption in Irish politics
