The Art of the Internment Camps: 1920-1922 Tuesday 19 November 6.30pm. National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks Dublin 7. During the period from 1916 until 1923, Irish soldiers were interned throughout Britain and Ireland. This lecture provides a fascinating glimpse into the harsh world of these soldiers through the artworks and writings they recorded in diaries, which are now in the Museums collections.
