Protest yesterday

According to today's Irish News (subscription only) there was a protest by the Green Party yesterday over the felling of trees in O'Connell Street

The Dublin Corp accused Ahern of interferring in local government when he voiced his agreement Fine Gael over the issue of the trees being saved!!!

Way to go, Greens, any first-hand reports? Are there more protests planned? Can we save the trees?
