Protest against WEF with your voices on local airwaves....

I do subscribe to the theories of corporate controlled media and ‘dammed if you do and dammed if you don’t’ but in case you do want to get on air and view your pt……….
Yesterday I emailed several radio stations, mostly local etc about the WEF and my experiences of protesting against them and others and today I got 3 phone calls – one from BBC Radio Ulster and got interviewed by them ----- then local Cavan/Monaghan radio Interview on Northern Sound and then after much deliberation……..Mariane Finucane tomorrow morning between 9 and 10am.
I don’t elude to brilliance or anything but feel I can get my pt. Across so I urge others to goooo for it. Just sensationalise it a bit to get a selling pt…. Eg. “I was at a similar gig and got the shit beaten out of me and understand what’s going on…..blah blah…..”....................
Local and Regional media is much more open especially if you sell the ‘local boy shit’ angle.
Anyone up for much need Oz embassy action – sick refugee and aboriginal policy right now. Hunger striker situation out of control and no sign of back down. Memories of 1981!!!
Vive Indymedia.ie - well done!!!

"Just sensationalise it a bit to get a selling pt"
No, that would be counterproductive. There's no need to sensationalise unlawful or brutal police tactics, they're bad enough as it stands. If you're going to go shooting your mouth off and exageratting people will learn not to listen to you. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great you're getting access to the media like this, I just think you need to be very careful not to abuse it. The media may not deserve your respect, but the readers/listeners do.
