UCD students to boycott lectures on Wednesday

The Campaign for Free Education has called on students in UCD to boycott lectures on Wednesday from 11am

CFE is a campaigning organisation that was set up by ordinary students to campaign agains tthe 69% hike in registration fees and against fees.

The CFE have had sucessful protests in the past few months. WE blockaded the minister for Education into UCD for 2 hours. WE also occupied the dual carriageway for 30 minutes and we held a successful sit down protest to prevent minister Brian Lenihan getting into UCD.

The CFE has massive support from students, according to opinion polls and from SU elections were CFE are biggest block on SU council.

CFE are calling on students to boycott lectures from 11am on wednesday. Students should assemble outside the Arts Block at 11 for the Day of Action against fees.
