A short time ago, Eoin O'Broin was elected student union president in University of Limerick by a majority of almost 3 to 1. More will undoubtably follow.

now for a shake up
What party is he affiliated to?
well done eoin! Looks like things are going pretty well done in UL. Meanwhile in UCD, fianna fail and their menions have launched a wrecking campaign against USI, atlastnite council they passed a motion, in complete disregard of union constitution, and hey we are now in boycott of USI, come november the disaffliation campaign and referendum will start. Anyway, fair play Eoin. Im sure you'll actually do something for students unlike the One Big Bureacracy that is UCD SU.
I wasn't at UCD SU council last night, but my comrades have told me about it. It was a total disgrace and is probably unconstitutional. It just goes to show that FF are fundamentally anti democratic and view the Union as being them and them alone. They are nothing but a bunch of careerists that are only interested in their own careers and not ordinary students.
They wont have it easy next year, the left & ordinary students will fightback even harder from next October. We will win the USI vote and we will defeat any plans to abolish elected Ents officer. FF's stranglehold on UCD SU is coming to an end!
congrats to Eoin,
somebody to keep the goodwork going. Annette Ryan gave Ncad a kick up the arse and had a great year including the best spontaneous RTS I've ever seen.
things look good there for next year too.
