Slimy Pat Byrne defends May Day gardai

Garda Commissioner Pat Byrne has defended his officers for covering up for Gardai who were video-taped attacking unarmed protestors last May. Byrne said that officers would not ignore offences committed by their colleagues, despite the fact that this is exactly what the Garda Complaints Board accused them of earlier this week.
