Libertarians Against Nice ran a very effective - if ultimately unsuccessful - campaign during the recent Nice referendum. However LAN lost over 1,000 Euros. A raffle in the run up to Christmas aims to recover this debt.
Libertarians Against Nice ran a very effective - if ultimately unsuccessful - campaign during the recent Nice referendum. 50,000 leaflets were produced and distributed, most of them door-to-door. Large numbers of posters were erected. Unlike the pro-Nice side and Justin Barrett's right-wing Catholic 'No to Nice' campaign, LAN had no wealthy backers. In fact our total income was 664.63Euros. However we spent 1,731.30 leaving us with a debt of 1,066.67Euros. In the run-up to the Christmas drinking season, we are running a raffle to try to clear the debt. To be in with a chance to win a bottle of spirits (4 bottles to be won), all you have to do is buy a line for 3Euros. Even better why don't you take a sheet of lines and hassle a few mates into buying some lines and supporting this worthy cause. Sheets (or even just individual lines) available from me - gregorkerr@eircom.net (087-6996046) or from suckola@hotmail.com.
We ran a very good campaign, let's pull together again now to clear the debt.

we have to go find someone? why not have it sold at a central location(s)? easier for everyone
The easiest way to organise the sale of tickets/lines is to contact me either by Email gregorkerr@eircom.net or by phone 087-6996046. If you want some to sell I'll arrange to get them to you. If you just want to buy one or two, I'll give you my snailmail address for you to send the money on to me.
