Budget Day Demos in Dublin Tomorrow

The cut-backs are likely to be revealed in tomorrow's budget. Trade Unionists, Communities, Students are making plans for demonstrations against the Budget.

A demonstration against the budget cuts called by Left TDs and Trade Union activists is assembling at the Central Banck at 1pm on Wednesday 4th. This will be a demo made up of Trade Union activists, Community groups, and left political parties. There will be a march up to the Dáil.

The USI are also calling a protest against the governments cuts, in particular the 69% hike in registration fees and the possible re-introduction of fees. This demo will be assembling outside the Dept of Finance, Merrion St, at 1pm.
