Will the Yankees allow the weapon inspectors into the bunker before the deadline?!!!
General A.R. Strike of the Resistance Air Force announced at a press conference yesterday that they would be enforcing the No Fly Zone over the American Embassy 'Bunker' this Saturday, December 7th, in accordance with Irish and International laws guaranteeing the island's neutrality.
"At the moment, the Yankee Bunker is refusing to let our weapons inspectors inside, and if they fail to let them in by 3.30pm on Saturday,we may have no other choice but to call for support and start strikes" he insisted.
Dismissing the American regime's calls that they had claim to the airspace over the Bunker, General Strike said that as long as Bush and
his cohorts, Sharon and Blair, flouted both Article 21 of the Irish Constitution (forbidding foreign military powers to use Irish soil for
war) and U.N. directives such as Resolution 242 (calling for an immediate Israeli withdrawal from occupied Palestine), he had no option but to authorise strikes and enforce the No Fly Zone.
"Workers strikes, that is. All over Europe on Feb 15th. Direct action, campus occupations, protests at military bases and airports. No US warplanes to land at Shannon. Or Knock! Or Baldonnell!
Assemble the Resistance Air Force at 13 hundred hours and thirty (1.30pm, civilian) sharp, on the runway in front of Trinity's Front Gate
this Saturday Dec 17. Bring your paper airplanes, your Red Zeppellins, your 99 Red balloons, your helium and your revolutionary kites. Join the weapon inspectors division, or the Love Army ground troops.
We fly for freedom, peace and resistance! Let's enforce the no fly zone."
The General has now left the building. God help us all.

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5 6This sounds like a great idea, but why the lag time (strike Feb 15th)? And why do a totally symbolic weapons inspection at the US Embassy (where, in fareness there aren't any nukes I guess) when there's a need for real weapons inspections at Shannon Airport?
Load up the love bombs on that Gluaiseacht Gyrocopter. Symbolic theatre does not negate direct action at Shannon- different time and place. Though if those pesky weapons inspectors hop the fence, will it be Kent State 2? Danny! Don't do it! Yer too young!
Chocks away
Anti war call
12-11-2002
To all citizens of Europe
Together we can stop this war !
We, the European social movements are fighting for social rights and social justice, for democracy and against all forms of oppression.
We stand for a world of diversity, freedom and mutual respect.
We believe this war, whether it has UN backing or not, will be a catastrophe for the people of Iraq - already suffering because of the embargo and the Saddam Hussein regime - and for people across the Middle East. It should be opposed by everyone who believes in democratic, political solutions to international conflicts because it will be a war with the potential to lead to global disaster.
There is a massive opposition to war in every country of Europe. Hundreds of thousands have already mobilised for peace.
We call on the movements and citizens of Europe to start continent wide resistance to war, and to :
1.organising massive opposition to an attack on Iraq starting now
2.if war starts to protest and organise actions immediately and call for national demonstrations the next saturday
3.to start organising enourmous anti war demonstrations in every capitals on February 15th.
We can stop this war.
Well Wing Commander Wigfield if you actually enter the U.S. Embassy and inspect the weapons, fuck it, I will join the Socialist Worker's Party!!!!!!!!!!
hasta la victoria sempre ;-o
And admit that this was a pre-emptive strike against those travelling to shannon and planning same ......... Bad faith no matter how jokingly expressed
