IMC Under Attack?

What's happening, anybody know?

This morning from France (8:00 Greenich time) I tried connecting with indymedia sites all over the world, and could not connect to many in the US. The news wire is not working at indymedia.org, the only us site i could get to was the dc site, maybe i'm wrong but something seems VERY STRANGE! Please check yourself and if there are problems alert other websites who can publish the news.
