Latest news on the imminent, though delayed, collapse of Dublin City Council is that the City Manager had a meeting yesterday with the Group Leaders of all the parties to find out of a compromise was possible. Compromise proving impossible Fitzgerald said he was going to tell the Minister the Council could not pass the Estimates some time today and most Councillors at the scheduled Council meeting last night were expecting the letter in the post disolving the Council at the end of this week or the beginning of next.
