We should support the CIE workers in their fight
This applies to both public and private sector workers, whether you're unionised or not, and also to those of you who are not working.
If anybody knows of any solidarity actions planned in support of the CIE workers tomorrow could they let the rest of us know ASAP.

I have written before how in those days an ironed shirt had something Thatcherite about it. Some local varient of Reagonomics. I remember a bus conductor when the busfare was only 6p.
That would be less than 20cents today.
Buses are a most excellent way of bringing together people. Everyone should spend time on a bus. Get yourself a bus and share it with your friends. The world will treat you differently and and you learn a lot about transport.
You all need bikes and you all need buses.
The DART was fecking great but so too were the conductors.
"THE NEED FOR NEW FORMATS
The need for new formats grows out of the oppressiveness of print. We must learn the techniques of advertisement. They consist of short, clear, non-rhetorical statements. The ad words. The ad represents a break with the college education and the diarrhea of words. The ad is a concentrated formula for communication. Its information power has already outmoded the school system. The secret is to gain as much pleasure in creating the form as expressing the idea".
