Holiday World Fair at RDS

Please attend the protest: Meet at Main Gate of RDS (Bus No. 7 to Horse Show House Pub) at 12 noon on Saturday 25th January. If you cannot make it at 12 (but could come later) please contact 087 7953371. All supporters welcome.

Solidarity with Hunger Strikers in Turkey

This weekend the 'Holiday World Fair' is taking place at the RDS, Simmonscourt Extension, Ballsbridge.

Last year Solidarity with Hunger Strikers in Turkey leafleted the fair to encourage people to Boycott Holidays in Turkey.

People staffing the two Turkish tourist stalls were very annoyed by this and came out of the event to argue with and threaten the activists. The reaction of the general public to our leaflets and campaign was very positive.

Solidarity with Hunger Strikers in Turkey will repeat the exercise this year, as it is a great opportunity to highlight the ongoing hunger strike. 103 people have now died in the struggle against the isolation prisons.
