I would say to corporations – The Earth is not yours, our Time is not yours; they belong to us.
I would say to the media – The news is not yours, on the hour, it is ours, it is us.
I would say to men of war – Peace is not yours to even touch, that is ours to keep for ourselves.
And I would say to holy men – God is not yours, He is ours, God has told us this much.

For the C of I heads have a think about article 37 of the articles of Religion. Weird little Elizabethan trot into theocracy that it was.
Lads, I share your frustrations, hopes and fears but surely you can manifest them into something more constructive - an article? a poem? a song? a protest? a book? - Come on.. stop messing up the newswire - such ramblings make it look like some kind of open counselling service.

For such a love based poster, from the lighter side of the soul, you sure can bear a grudge.
Is Indymedia for counselling? I rather think not. A whole, and interesting argument, re objectivity and its place in reporting awaits.
Suffice to say, though I may be wrong, that passion and reportage have a balance with one another, and in disturbance of that balance, both are degraded. And this is, after all, a newswire. It is a podium with the ambition of particular characteristics. Something may well be worth saying - I could quote the whole of Leaves of Grass, or the Symposium, and defend utterly its edifying effects, but I would still be wrong to post it here.
