Shuttle crash slows Militarization of Space

Democracy NOW! reports on the Shuttle disaster

NASA is currently engaged in helping to implement the USA's plans to militarize space. The shuttle probably did not carry nuclear material in significant quantities this time, but future ones will if Project Prometheus goes ahead. Furthermore, the heroes that died in the Shuttle could still be alive if the Bush administration had heeded complaints from NASA engineers.

It reports that the Bush administration was warned of a pending "catastrophic failure" of the Shuttle and ignored these claims. It also reports on why it is likely that future Shuttle's _will_ be carrying nuclear material.
