Saturday looks massive
Despite what detractors on this site (mostly middle class 'Kilmacud types') say, and despite their best efforts to put down Saturday's demo.
Nuff said. Dublin is already going to grind to a standstill simply because many workers (Myself included) are going to walk off the job on Saturday afternoon to take part in the demo. The Trade Unions for the first time in years are actively mobilising workers to take part in a demo. Lets bring Dublin to a complete halt on Saturday.

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4I'm not entirely sure what the above 'news story' is about, but the current situation is that two buses will be going to Dublin from west Cork, one from north Cork, and four from the city (including one organised by the Green Party). City buses will leave from the Opera House at 9am and tickets are E16 return (E10 unwaged).
Many, many more people have indicated that they will be travelling by public transport or by car. There will, without question, be a huge representation from Cork.
might be a good idea to align the People's Republic of Cork 'movement' with peace lovin' folk
Excellent idea, or how about expanding the idea of the CAZ (Cork Autonomous Zone) to take in the entire Lee River bioregion?
Another bus has just been ordered for Cork city. To those who've booked seats so far: turn up!
