It is strange that folks such as those who wish to prevent Shannon being used by U.S. warplanes shy away from condemning planes....
Current anti-war activists wish to cease all military operations in Shannon airport, that is their wish. However if you see the Earth through different eyes you may choose to realise that all airport use is waging a war on the web of life which we are part of.The men of technology economies came together to agree on a treaty known as Kyoto, the treaty holds all airoplanes and such sky transporters as exempt from their irrelevant treaty, why?because they believe that to curtail in any way air traffic is to 'harm' their unfeasible economies. It is strange to confront those who protest about Shannon and Iraq war about this already waging war. They often
turn a blind eye or say incomprehensibles such as
'well we're dealing with the problem at hand' or
'that will harm our economy' or 'you are too idealistic'.....having completed their uncomfortable replies they sink back to chanting about 'U.S. warplanes' and war economy or'Bush and Blair'.Most so-called ecologists and environmentalists are only too painfully aware of
the damage of such engines burning ceaselessly in the Earth's higher altitudes but for some almost understandable reason they talk of what is considered to be 'the here and now'.Yesterday over
5 score thousand peoples marched in unison for their worthwhile cause as did countless others across the globe. When will the posters read'STOP THE WAR ON EARTH'.....At what point in our unpredictable future will those who bear the 'fight for justice' accept this as a real war.
