Well Spain is being run by the right-wing fascist party otherwise known as the PP(Partido Popular) and for once the Spanish people, Catalans, Galicians and Basques have all come out against the government over different issues.
All have come out against the war but especially the Catalans and the Spanish in Barcelone, Sevilla and Madrid.
The Galicians have come out in the form of the Nunca Máis(Never Again) protest in Madrid this weekend on the issue of inaction of the government regarding the oilspill that has devasted the ecosystem along the Galician coast.
And finally hundreds of thousands of Basque marched in Donosti(San Sebastian) this Saturday to protest against the repression (closer of Egunkaria and arrest of its editorial staff) dealt out by the Guardia Civil on thursday morning.
The paper has kept going under the new heading of Egunero.
Also I´ve just heard that Perro ZubiriaPERRO ZUBIRIA, WHO WAS ILL WHEN HE WAS TAKEN OUT HIS BED IN THE EARLY HOURS OF THURSDAY MORNING IS UNABLE TO SPEAK TO THE SPANISH JUDGE AS HE´S BEEN COMMITTED TO HOSPITAL.
