It has started
There have been over 30 arrests so far in Los Angeles where pre-emptive direct action is being taken by protestors.
Their targets have been the on-ramps to freeways and major streets near the Federal Building in Westwood.
Los Angeles indymedia is being fucked with by the feds at the name-server level and it is not possible to access it.
Other geographically close indymedias are rushing to fill the gap.
Monkey see, monkey do.
SHUT IT DOWN

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4About 1000 people marched on Wilshire/Veteran blocking off Wilshire Blvd. About 200 decided to sit down, under the heavy thudding of about 5 police helicopters.
The police moved in and warned that there would be a mass arrest. 30 people decided that they weren't moving.
The diverse crowd include school kids that had walked out and received massive support from motorists that were stopped in their cars.
The 405 Freeway onramps/exits were actually blocked by the police in order to prevent demonstrators getting access to them and have remained blocked for about 2 hours.
Meanwhile the publically announced convergence planes call for citizens to gather at 5pm the day the bombing starts at several locations. These include the Federal building, elected-representatives offices, military-associated facilities and large intersections.
In San Francisco calls have gone out for a Black Bloc which aims to cause maximum disruption to any of a huge list of targets.
Speculation is that the Office of Homeland Security will escalate to Code Red in order to suppress dissent.
Don't let the fascists win.
What is Saddam thinking?
