Actually, Garda Complaints office DOES have a number

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Tuesday May 07, 2002 21:51author by Jason Conroy

I called 666 6666 and asked for the number of the Garda Complaints office. I was given 8728 666. "That's eight seven two eight, six six six", I mused. "No, triple six!" The garda replied. "Okay, six six six, the number of the beast, thank you!" Click! No response from the beasts at the GCO, so I called Directory Enquiries who gace me 666 9863. Is there a pattern developing with their numbers? Hmmmmm.... Criminal Investigations Office: 666 3344 Who is policing the gardaí? And who is the thug with the baton spotted throwing his (considerable) weight around on RTÉ and TV3 this evening (also on photos at this site)? The one without a number? Has he been identified yet?

He was at the Burlington protest, and at the Car-Free day one as well. A nasty piece of work. Many people pointed him out on the day. He's making quite a name for himself.

This idiot is based in Mountjoy police station, at least according to my information. I have heard that he was called in this afternoon to see a senior officer. It seems they are getting their story together.

It would be very helpful if someone could confirm that he is based in Mountjoy (or otherwise). As an idiot closely matching his identity was certainly called to a meeting this afternoon.

The purpose and the notes from this meeting could then be sought by the newly arranged defense team.
