report from my workplace and call for info on day x in dun laoghaire

same as above

all students and staff of st john's national school(where i am a teacher)in ballybrack, co. Dublin observed the day x stoppage. we took the kids into the yard and read some anti-war poetry.
which mightn't sound too militant but was siutable for a couple of hundred pre-teen kids.

other stoppages in dun laoghaire area include a walk out in st benildus school, followed by a march of around a hundred kids. Five other members of dun laoghire anti war group helped to organise stoppages in their workplaces, including the arts council on merrion square. Sallynoggin senior college was also to walk out and there were probably other stoppages/attempted walkouts in other schools. apparently there was asmall walkout of staff in CBC monkstown also. i am hearing anecdotally that the stoppage was observed in a number of other places around the dl/rathdown constituency. If anyone knows of these could they post them on indymedia and/or e-mail as i am trying to compile a full list.
cheers
