B52 bombers are on their way to blitz Iraq
I just saw on Sky News that B52 bombers loaded with ordinary bombs(not, I repeat not guided "smart" bombs) have taken off from Fairfield in Britain. These bombs have a 2% accuracy rate. Sky's military analysts think that they will be used on Iraqi army positions in Nasariyah because the Iraqis are putting up more of a fight than expected. Nasariyah is a large town so its fairly certain that civilians will be killed. The B52s will reach Iraq at around 6pm this evening.This will be the start of the "shock and awe" blitzcrieg. The slaughter has begun...
