I hate to interrupt the SWP/SP 'its my movement' 'no its mine' fest in progress but activists in San Francisco are about to bring the city to a halt for the third working day in a row. Over 1400 have already been arrested but the impact is massive. Watch it as it happens at http://sf.indymedia.org/ and lets think about doing this in Dublin, Cork, Belfast etc

and so far just over 2000 people have been arrested.
why don't you do something yourself instead of moaning and pointing to other countries? At least the SWP and SP are out there doing something. If you want a san francisco do something about it!
the sp boy above cameout with this cop out rubbish "At least the SWP and SP are out there doing something"
How many streets have they blocked? How many US corporations have they shut down?
Enough said! Real activists not fake sp/swp posers in San Francisco are shutting the place down and causing real economic disruption.
HS I have already done a lot and have nothing to prove, especially to a member of the do nothing 'Socialist' Party. The problem is the majority of the anti-war movement seems content with marching to the top of the hill and back down again when it is quite clear this will not impact the war. In addition sections of it like the 'Socialist' Party and the 'Green' Party actually try and undermine people like me who are organising and taking part in actions against the war.
In any case I only mentioned the SWP/SP because of the stupid row you guys were having a couple of posts down about Belfast. If you put the same energy into organising action we might get somewhere.
