weekly musical and literary performances to raise funds for the Iraqi humanitarian causes

Hello, below is my proposal for a weekly event to be held in Dublin, bringing together artists opposed to war. Is it to be held in central Dublin (of two possible locations), starting as soon as possible. I have tried to find as many relevant email addresses as possible, but would appreciate if you can forward this onto anyone else you think maybe interested. I need a quick reply from all of you. Lets work together and do as much as we can dmitri vitaliev

Proposal for weekly anti-war event nights in Dublin

Proposal: A weekly meeting in a Dublin venue to gather artists, musicians and politicians for performances aimed to raise money for non-political humanitarian relief agencies and the rebuilding of Iraq.

A scope of bands, poets and politicians – to be announced and finalised at least ten days prior to the opening night – will voice their concerns, views, plan of actions and over the current crisis and future plans for Iraq and its people.

The event to be held on a weeknight running between 2 and 5 hours. The evening will begin with speeches by political and local figures, followed by presentations from action groups and concluded with literary and musical performances.

A small cover charge will be administered with the purpose: collecting an amount required for the deposit and advertising of a large scale anti-war musical event to be held at one of Dublin’s larger venues…and the invitation of multiple bands and political figures

Plan of Action:
- Initial invitations to music groups, artists and politicians
- Finalising venue, date & time (2nd week of April)
- Confirmation of event line-ups
- Advertising and promotion
- Weekly event held, for one month
- With sufficient success, mass music event planned

Summary: With the crisis upon, my hopes are for all different factions who voice their protest and concern to gather in a night of artistic expression aimed at bringing together Dublin’s crowd concerned for the people and the future of Iraq. If your beliefs in this crisis are strong, and you have the time and will for an event as such, please reply and offer yourself to this cause. I shall be take upon me all tasks relating to the organisation and running of the event but would greatly appreciate any help anyone can lend myself. This is a non-profit night with the aim of gathering enough funds, people and collateral for a major anti-war event, with any proceeds going to the success of our mission.

Please contact me with any replies, thoughts and ideas and lets get this moving
