Anybody receiving the Bact to Education grant will have to "be actively looking for work for the summer months". Postgraduates no longer qualify for the grant. Another example of how this pock faced bastard cannot be trusted. He promised that cutbacks would only affect those who could afford it. How we laughed.

If you have exams to repeat in September let them know that you'll be too busy to seek work.

According to the Thomas St dole office you will have to be on the live register to resume the BTEA in sept.
So forget about looking for a job if you plan on staying in college!

Did anyone see the interview with the minister in the Griffith student newspaper. He says he finds it very hard to send his children through college and he didn't think he could do it on any less then he was getting.
How much does this guy get. Upwards of 130,000 a year?
It doesn't make sense why he should bring back fees if he feels he can't afford it. What about everyone else who doesn't earn 130,000 a week??
