USWAR/Pepsi warehouses stormed in India's Andhra Pradesh
New Delhi, March 31, IRNA -- People's War Group (PWG) naxals Sunday
night stormed a warehouse of soft drink multinational Pepsi in Guntur
district, in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, to protest
the war on Iraq by US-UK forces, the local media reported on Monday.
About 10 armed naxals stormed the warehouse at Peduguralla town,
about 100 km from Guntur, ordered the four employees present to go
out and destroyed hundreds of cases of the soft drink, police sources
said in Guntur.
The naxals, who also attempted to set afire the warehouse, fired
several shots in the air to scare away the crowd that had gathered at
the site.
The naxals later retreated, shouting slogans denouncing the US
war on Iraq, sources said.

USWAR/Foreign media not given the truth
Kuala Lumpur, March 31, IRNA -- Malaysian Foreign Minister Syed Hamid
Albar said Monday that the United States and its allies have been
using the foreign media, including their television stations, to
provide false information to the world on the situation in Iraq.
Syed Hamid said the media was used to fan the issue with their
inaccurate reports saying the US-led attack on Iraq was right.
"They use various strategies to show that their action against
Iraq is right. There are many lies reported which are very dangerous
and can lead to distrust of the United Nations," he told newsmen
here.
Syed Hamid said he hoped the local media would send their
reporters to Iraq to get the truth on this ongoing war.
He said such a move was needed to ensure that Malaysians were
not easily influenced by wrong reports disseminated by the foreign
media.
