Maybe they should have sat back and let the Orange order supported by british cash walk all over the Catholic population.Or stand by as paras killed civil rights marchers in Derry. And as for the above, half your "facts" are up your hole. It's fuck all when it is compared to the life lost from the brits down through the ages or protestant paramilitarys backed by the RUC and Brit army.

Terrorist tactics dont work. They put an individual ahead of a movement. SF have supported individual acts as opposed to mass movements. When Anarchists talk of disempowering people they should have a go at Terrorist Tactics and SF.

SF have their feet on both sides of the fence. In the South they poster to the left. They oppose the war etc. In the North they are actually quite right-wing, west of the Bann they are Catholic fundementalist types that are against Gay Marraiges. Then in America they are a safe pair of hands to get cash from Irish-American Big Business.

I really dont know how people can come onto this website and attack SWP, SP, WSM, GAW, IAWM etc and not even give any criticism of SF.

This infighting is pathetic plus the fact that evil dave is most likely a guard or a supporter of the right with an intent to shitstir so ignore such articles and stop the bickering.

1. Not all members of sinn fein at one time or another shot people.
2. Sinn Fein has been making considerable efforts towards peace, no mean feat when there are still violent maniacs running around with their own personal agendas out there.
3. Having at one time "participated" in a violent struggle does not mean that you can never again condem violence.
4. The IRA is different from the US army in that the IRA at least usually phoned in warnings about attacks on civilian areas, Iraqi civilians are getting no such warnings. Hell, the US is bombing them in their sleep now.

Now I'm far from being a sinn fein supporter (as Justin can testify), but you don't have to be one to see the differences.
