Boycotting US goods ... More enquiry than news...

While looking for hotels to send my grandparents on holidays I came across this pop-up from a hotel website refusing to deal with French hotels and suggesting England and Spain as alternatives.

Would it be possible to create a similar pop-up to be attached to other sites so as to boycott US goods? For example, if someone were able to create the necessary file and have it available on various websites for site owners to use for their sites? I don't know anything about computers that way but would help in any distribution of such pop-up, in terms of getting to various site owners.

This is work, and it might be effective, they just want to sell papers and recruit gullible kids and repeat a few boring slogans.

i don't think boycotting all us goods is sensible
