Jump To Comment: 1 2 3i bet the workers in argentina gave the media their mobile numbers, too
Well I don't know about the last comment but I liked the quote, "They are afraid of us because we have shown that, if we can manage a factory, we can also manage a country". A good summation of workers power I thought where economic issues are linked always to political issues etc.
"At 5 p.m., 50 middle-aged seamstresses in no-nonsense haircuts, sensible shoes and blue smocks walked up to the police fence. Someone pushed, the fence fell, and the Brukman women, unarmed and arm in arm, slowly walked through....."
reminds me of a certain airport (Shannon) and a certain date (march 1st)
- fortunately the Bruckman workers have no "leaders" to tell them that their direct action is premature and unworthy of support
and if they did they, probably, wouldn't listen...........
