The project is to support the newspaper group and the website is for that group.
It is not an IMC as it has not gone through the new IMC process (although they may do so at a later date).

we are looking into how to remove the indymedia 'branding' (for want of a better word) from the site.

Bristol Indymedia volunteers have helped set up a new IMC-based website as part of a proposal to twin with Baghdad.

Local activists on the ground in Baghdad are striving to publish an independent newspaper "Al-MuaJaha - The Iraqi Witness". Urgent calls for funding have been made, for equipment, cameras, laptops, satellite links, etc, and to pay local journalists some money to live.

Urbana Champinon (USA) is acting as the fiscal sponsor for the project and monies should be directed through them.
