Omagh policing board incites riot

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Thursday May 22, 2003 23:11author by exodus

Omagh policing board incited a near riot yesterday, after refusing to answer questions from members of the public about collusion, RUC human rights abuses and continued brutality, and the RUC ignoring warnings of informant Kevin fulton about the Omagh bomb.

Uproar ensued in at the public meeting as members of the public's queries were ignored by the policing board who refused to answer their concerns. The policing board decided to carry on the meeting amongst themselves, resulting in members of the public protesting by drowning them in a barrage of chants. The policing board was set up to put a superficial front on the renamed RUC, in an attempt to whitewash RUC past misdemeanours and make the RUC look like they are now a reformed, accountable police force. In the future the policing board will be meeting in private amongst their exclusive selves, to share tittle tattle about petty crime whilst ignoring serious crime issues such as sectarian murder, RUC collusion with paramilitaries and the continued illegal security force intelligence covert war against the people of northern ireland.

What kind of example are the Policing board setting our young people through their provocative uselessness. The Policing board is just another exclusive clique, set up to make our useless pompous civic leaders feel important, same old faces, same old attitude. Think the busy body bitchy dog eat dog competitive 'keeping up with the jones' two faced neighbour you hate(Vincent McKenna), well surprise, surprise they're on the policing board, using their influence to plot against you and get one over on you once again.

The oul bastard that hates you, thats too scared/hasn't got the guts, to say it to your face, but instead works secretly behind the scenes, sneakily and slimily pulling strings to engineer your downfall.

The policing board consists of the usual golf/country club buddies, with added hypocritic pillars of society paedophiles such as Vincent McKenna(SAVE THE RUC) chairman types.

I think its very quaint that we get to sit on the policing board, we've known Hughie Orde for absolutely ages, his son is in the same class as our little timothy. Its great to be able to hob nob with respectable pillars of society such as dearest Basil and our refined civic leaders, they have such impeccable taste and judgement, don't you think, but what ever you do don't mention kincora.

Do you really have to answer your own posts? Just cause the voices in your head are all talking doesn't mean they have to type as well.

Golly gosh Mr king seems very angry, too angry to post a sensible reply to the post. Catch a grip King, just because you haven't got a reply, it doesn't suffice to resort to name calling. Looks like someones hit a raw nerve for Mr king.

Shh, shh, Don't mention KINCORA you know it upsets King mobster.

that all the replies to mob might also be from the voices?

why dont you form a barbershop quartet?

the way you are reporting this, the constant asides from various characters, takes away from the seriousness of the events you describe.

Congratulations to all those activists involved in opposing the hypocricy of those CRONIES involved in these so-called "policing partnerships." While I am never shocked by the antics of the Redmondites in the SDLP, I am totally disgusted by the actions of the supposed 'revolutionary socialists' in The Workers' Party who are sitting on these boards - accepting payment for their participation from Blair, while glossing over the war crimes conducted by the RUC/PSNI and their agents in the interests of British imperialism.

The Workers' Party give off about despots and regimes in South and Central America but stand in the way of a progressive resolution of the policing issue in the North by endorsing these partnerships. They jumped onboard this Blair project whenever they should have been listening to those communities who are crying out for a genuine beginning to policing.

Now is time for activism. Lobby, protest, etc etc. ALSO - Let the Workers Party know what you think !!!!!!!
