Mary Kelly is a nurse who was trapped inside the
Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem for the final week
of the siege. She had entered the church to bring much
needed supplies to the Palestinians inside, and had
become trapped. After one week she was forcibly
removed along with others “The army stormed the church
and put us into hand-cuffs and leg-cuffs, drove us
away and held us for days before we were taken to the
airport”

This was the final week in her six-week mission of
mercy to the troubled region. She was deported from
Israel and arrived back in Ireland in May.

Everyone who has an interest in defending civil rights
and showing solidarity with the Palestinian people
should attend this meeting and hear her story.
