Looking for confirmation
Not really a news report but still valid nonetheless as a commentary on a piece in an estabishment media. The Andersonstown News had a piece, see link, claiming that the IRPWA, which provides assistance to imprisoned dissident republicans cut off a prisoner's welfare.
Having a healthy scepticism about anti-dissident material in the Andytown News I was wondering if any Northern comrades could confirm. Disgusting if true.

Jump To Comment: 1 2You would have to question why the Andersontown News devoted so much space to the welfare of Republican prisoners when they are on record themselves saying current POWS should be put in padded cells. When Tommy Crossan was attacked by Loyalists in Maghaberry there was barely a mention in the paper. They are only concerned when it fits into their agenda of attacking those who disagree with the provisional strategy.
Andytown News putting the mix in again. No reports on the prison protest or the problems in the jail but first in line to rubbish the groups that work hard to support the prisoners. Would not trust the Andytown News whatsoever. Whatever they print, the opposite is true.
