Privatising the world: water, seeds, genes, healthcare - very few things today are not thought to be considered saleable comodities. 'The Bottom Line' investigates the privatising of the world and invites us to reflect on the 'common good' notion which is threatened both by the decreasing role of the state and the prevailing trend to patent everything that belonged to society for generations. With stories from Mexico, India, Canada and France. Mostly in English, narration is in Irish with English subtitles throughout.

An Domhan ar Díol: Uisce, síolta, géinte agus cúram sláinte - is beag rud nach féidir a dhíol sa lá atá inniu ann. Déanann an clár seo cíoradh ar phríobháidiú an domhain agus tarraingíonn ár n-aird ar an meon 'leas na ndaoine', meon atá i mbaol anois mar gheall ar ról an Stáit i saol na linne a bheith ag laghdú agus an claonadh a bhíonn ann paitinn a fháil ar gach rud, fiú rudaí a ceapadh riamh anall go mba leis an bpobal i gcoitinne iad.
