25 plus clampers on picket arrested - charged with public order act

public order act - licence to pick on little people

have rung store street about this to confirm anything possible. some kind of unofficial dispute at clampers section. more than 25 arrests at bthe picket. public order act. bet there was batons used. this is a story if there ever was one. copds fighting among themselves or what. no word from clampers head office. rts should suppoirt clampers. they are like rts inb uniform.

Somebody on the radio was saying that there was no real animosity between the strikers and the cops, that there was a mutual respect and atmosphere of cooperation. I do think we should get down there and support them, the pickets contiuing over the weekend apparently..
